Topical or Oral Hemp Products? How to Choose the Right Format

When people compare hemp products, they often begin with the ingredient. A better first question is where and how you want to use it. Format determines how a product is applied, how precisely it can be measured and what information you need from the label.
Topical products
Salves and gels are applied to intact skin for localized use. A gel is typically lighter and absorbs more quickly, while a salve has a richer, wax-based texture that remains on the skin longer. Check the ingredient list for fragrances, essential oils and other components that may matter to sensitive skin.
Tinctures
Tinctures are measured liquids taken according to the label. They allow flexible serving sizes, but the dropper markings and concentration must be read carefully. The total amount in the bottle is not necessarily the amount in one serving.
Capsules
Capsules provide a pre-measured option with no flavor or mixing. Compare the amount per capsule, capsule count and ingredient list rather than relying only on the number printed on the front of the package.
Choose with less guesswork
For localized external use, begin with the Body Comfort & Ease collection. For broader support, compare the oral products in the other pathways. In every case, use the physical label and a matching third-party lab report as your primary references.
